SILENCE

assalamualaikum and hi! well, i know it's been a long time since the last post, but here i am, trying to write some contents.

the main reason i decided to write this content is, there is on one fine night, i watched aida azlin's youtube channel titled 'Words That Hurt'. when i watched it, i felt so relatable. if you haven't watch yet, feel free to do so. link will be pasted down below ;)

it hurts us the most, when the people that we dear and love, throw such harsh words. harsh words that great enough to keep us in silence. harsh enough to keep our relationship tear apart. harsh enough to make one soul remember it for the rest of his/her life.

i used to be that one kind of person; who lash out such hurtful words just to keep my heart feel ease. i am happy to see that she is silenced by my words. that time, this words hovered in my head, ' you mess with the wrong person'. but as the time passed by, i did not see any advantages of doing that. i did not receive any calmness after doing that, i feel awful with myself. how could i hurt people's heart with this boneless tongue.

'how can an innocent mix of alphabets strung together, stab and pierce the most sacred part of one's soul?' -aida azlin.

this one sentence in her video that made me realize that, there is so many good things to say, so many good words to type but sometimes people are not in rational position when they are mad. the tend to utter such hurtful word in order to make themselves feel better. in the end, we all know that by doing that, it does not make the situation any better. such proud feeling only last maybe a day or two but after that, how are we going to make up with the person that we just hurt him/her? saying sorry with awkward gesture is probably the least a person could do. and she just smile, as if nothing happen but deep down inside, we should know that words that hurt, is not going to heal. it stains in one's heart.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr radhiAllahu 'anhu:

The Prophet saw said,

" A muslim is the one who avoids harming muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandon) all what Allah has forbidden.

-Sahih Al Bukhari-

even our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw reminded us to avoid harming other neither by tongue nor hands. we as muslims especially, need to abstain ourselves from saying or typing such harsh words to please our heart. instead, have faith and sabr in our inner self. we need to follow our prophet's good manner, which is to have high patience and only say the good words.

last but not least, i pray that all of us to have faith in our life. i pray that all wounds that has not heal from those harsh words will heal eventually. i pray, all of us are given the strength to refrain ourselves from hurting others.

moga ada manfaat ;)
